Our clients had only just purchased their detached house in Tadorth when they first contacted us. The three-bedroom property has a large garden expanding onto the countryside. Whilst they love the property as a whole they identified several key issues which will need to be resolved especially now that they have a young child.

These issues include a small kitchen which also houses all of the utility items and is unsuitable for a young, growing family. A small downstairs W.C. which is very small. There is limited internal access to the garden, which is currently via the double doors in the lounge and through the porch area by the kitchen.

The new single story side and rear extension have created an open plan kitchen/dining space that looks out onto the countryside. Sliding doors improve the access to the garden and a mansard roof has been designed to help maintain the views from the upstairs bedroom. A skylight has been introduced to generate additional natural light into the kitchen space.

Our visuals show how the new extension will look upon completion with plenty of natural light and an excellent dining and kitchen area.

A contractor has been appointed and works will begin in late February 2012.
